Following the feud between Ghana’s disk jockey and YFM’s Vision DJ teaming up with A.I to hit back at Nigerian Afro-Dancehall and Reggae act Burna Boy over a refix of award winning jam “Grind”, Afro-pop act Crispy pinpoint this as no issue.
The Nigerian crooner cautioned, Vision DJ and A.I to stop acting childish over Burna Boy’s re-up of Grind. This isn’t new in the industry, Burna took the beat and slayed on. Even the African rap king Sarkodie, road on Wizkid’s ojuelegba. This shows love and how far your gem has impacted lives.
Crispy spoke with much respect and trying to unite the two countries musically.
Recap of the squabble:
The Dancehall act a few days ago shared an artwork announcing his plans to premiere what he labeled as a re-up of Vision DJ’s Grind featuring 2Ligit’s A.I.
A.I in his effort to stop Burna Boy from releasing the record sent a few messages to the Dancehall act and that prompted Burna to block him on Twitter.
Vision DJ on Twitter has also revealed he did not give Burna Boy the go ahead to use the record.
Pls everybody asking, nigga has received no blessings or backing from me, @ai2ligit or our team.thank you
