It always feel good when fathers are been celebrated for the path they play in our lives.
When Jay Z was inducted into the Songwriter’s Hall of Fame a couple of days ago, a Barack Obama message was released in which the former president spoke about the similarities between both figures and mentioned the absence of their fathers as one of them. For many men across the world, it’s a similar stand point however, South African MC, Cassper Nyovest is one of those whose father figure is present and instrumental in his life and he shows it in his Superman video.
Superman was one of the singles off Cassper’s recently released third studio album, Thuto and sees the rapper speak about how his father managed to ensure he never struggled despite not having as much many before sharing some of the values his father imbibed ahead of an entrance from Tsepo Tshola on the outro.
In the video, we are treated to shots of Cassper and his father as well as other fathers engaging with younger children in a video that comes in timely fashion ahead of Father’s Day which is tomorrow.
