Afro star, Eddy Kenzo, has been nominated for the 36th Annual International Reggae and World Music Awards.
Eddy Kenzo has been shortlisted in the category of ‘Best African Entertainer’ alongside, some top-notch artists like Shatta Wale, Wizkid, Stonebwoy and Davido.
Organizers of the prestigious awards structure, International Reggae and World Music Awards will reveal the winners at the 37th Chicago Music Awards on Sunday, March 18, 2018, Logan Center –University of Chicago, Chicago, Illinois.
The awards scheme was established in 1982, the International Reggae and World Music Awards (IRAWMA) aim to honor and acknowledge the accomplishments and contributions of reggae and world music artists including: performers, musicians, songwriters, and promoters.
The impetus behind the IRAWMA is its commitment to promoting greater participation and acceptance of Reggae, Caribbean and World Music, internationally.
