Mr Eazi stop feeling like a music neoteric – Stonebwoy
Award winning dance-hall act, Stonebwoy cautioned Nigerian born Ghana-based Afro-pop crooner Mr Eazi of his boosting, he made Nigerian artistes who have no affiliation with the Ghanaian culture start to use basilect like ‘oodo’, ‘shitor’, ‘sika’, ‘banku’ in their music.
The Zylofon music inked virtuoso, Stonebwoy calmly hushed Mr Eazi’s ego in an interview on TV3, 3music show with Chriskata and the bumboy OfficialKwame.
“I respect his musical spirit, but he, trying to crown himself as the originator of the Ghanaian lingo infused into the Nigerian genre of music is total nonsense and wrong. There were legends who took Ghana music to Nigeria to make it well known before he started as an underground, I think he got to refrain his statement and re-channel it so it wouldn’t cause any bridge between his career and Nigeria.
